The video created for Ocmis is an emotional narrative that aims to raise public awareness about water conservation. The entire visual concept was developed to be perfectly synchronized between the images and the overlay text. Every shot and transition was designed to reinforce the narrative, transforming the data into an engaging experience. The footage shows a challenging reality: a planet populated by 8 billion people, 2 billion of whom lack access to safe water.
We wanted to create a visual contrast between the beauty of nature and the harsh reality of statistics. The editing was carefully crafted to give each figure and statement space, allowing the text to be read and absorbed, while the footage serves as a visual aid and metaphor, combining science with emotion. This video is the result of visual storytelling that hopes to inspire and promote a change in mentality.
