The video documentation of the system built for Morando focuses on the precision and fluidity of the end-of-line dedicated to pet food, focusing on the operation of a single high-performance palletizing cell. We highlighted the machine’s versatility in handling both bundles and boxes and in bag layer formation.
The filming involved using an indoor drone to obtain overhead viewpoints, ideal for demonstrating the palletization pattern and the perfect geometry of the finished loads. The camera’s fluid movement allows the product to be followed from the infeed conveyor to its placement on the pallet, closely documenting the delicate and rapid nature of the process. For the most critical mechanical details, such as the centering systems and the specific bag clamps, we relied on fixed shots on a tripod with 4K resolution, ensuring a stable and detailed image of the technical components.
In post-production, we opted for a dynamic editing system that synchronizes the cuts with the movements of the robot’s axes, giving the video a mechanical and consistent rhythm. Focusing on a single island allowed us to insert anchored titles using tracking in After Effects that identify key stages. These graphic elements follow the moving components, immediately demonstrating the flexibility of United Symbol’s robotic system and its robustness in seamlessly handling different types of packaging.
